Zero Dollars!

I finally did it!!

If you've been following this blog, then you'll know that I advocate spending all of your cash. Just sitting on it does you no good. In that post, I noted that Mager had been able to spend all of his cash, but the best that I ever reached was a single dollar.

Well! I finally did it tonite! Down to zero dollars. Bwahahahaa!!

It is actually kind of funny... Mager mentioned once that trying to reach single digits in cash is a sort of "side game". It's true. I always feel a little thrill when I can get my cash that low.

Go forth! Spend cash!

cool....this is when we know to raid your must-keep pets and you can't buy them back.

Mwahahah.

segovius: that would be true... if I had any must-keep pets. My wishlist is over 1100 pets long, so I've always got alternatives. :-)

So say if I am looking for beautiful pets that have a high turnover rate history, should I just wait for you to do all the research and raid your pets?

nathan: LOL ... that is one way to do it... if I only bought pets to flip them. But you should know better than that. I buy pets that I like in my pet list. They can sit there for a month for all I care. I'll by pets that traded 2 minutes ago, or 2 months ago. Not much difference to me.

That said, so many people hit my profile, that even "inactive" pets don't remain that way after I buy them.

Sigh.

As an example, I recently purchased a pet that had not been purchased for 11 days. I bought her for $2,408.

She was bought off me shortly after, and traded back/forth for the past two days. I just purchased her again $131,831.

Zoiks!!

I have like three million, I don't have time to get to zero because my friends are all childish and buy all my pets because they think It bothers me, but they just make me richer.. I stopped even buying the pets they purchase, so they were stuck with them.. but after a while, I buy up them again because it does bother them when their pets get brought and they buy them back in about an hour. I can't spend my money fast enough, I don't have time and if I open to many windows trying to hurry, it crashes my explorer, so I take my hat off to you. Maybe I need some grown-up friends! ;)

When you've got that much money sitting around...Go buy some really expensive pets that look like they'll flip. Or better yet, come buy mine. :P

I just got down to $7.
My personal record.

Augh!! I'm down to a freakin' dollar! This new "side game" is fun :-)

Awesome job everybody! Single digits!

And kwan001xyz got to ZERO! Woo!

Buying gifts is certainly one way, but it is hard to get rid of $5021 that way :-)

Now... this depends on how you play, but I got to zero by buying only pets that I would normally buy. A month or so ago, there was a pet that was exactly the right price. But I wasn't interested, and passed her up. For most investors, that might not be a problem, but I just couldn't do it :-P

$555 might be an interesting marker to hit as well...

It's $1 under being able to buy a pet valued at $500.

Boom! Just bought Tiffany (a pet I've owned a number of times already) for $12,617 ... and now at $0.

Whee!!
