This seems like simple inflation. I'm not so sure I like it that much. However, pets will suddenly be more expensive. At least the starting value for friends has not been increased from $500.
People who don't catch on will be the losers.
Also, the formula has changed: sales tax is less than 2% and the increase is down to 10% with an even 5% to both the pet and previous owner. Looks like they're not worried about inflation anymore.

Yes it will cause a bit of inflation but in the same time it will dynamise the game: people will be less afraid buying more expensive pets. They will know that they are going to be sold more easy.

It was inevitable, got about time.
This measure just changes the speed of the transactions. This will caus more transactions to hapen and an even amount of taxes to be recived in an equaly long period. The effects houwever will become less significant over time. A series of measures will have to be taken on long term to keep the market from slowing down.
So it's a reaction on wat looks like inflation. But this is coused by the fact that prices can't go down at all, so the market can only grow and never reach a suplie-damand balance.

yehthe market rules tend to be changing every few hours - i invited 8 friends for 40,000 a few hours before it got changed to 12 for 60,000 and the computer forgot that i'd already invited friends today!

Looks like you guys are going to have to give us 100k bonuses... 25k bonuses are little compared to what you get for inviting + logging in!

I don't like the idea... Increasing the log-in bonus and invite a friend bonus would be a great idea if used as an incentive to get people to login on certain days.
For instance "Login between 2am and 8am EST and get $10k" or even a short term such as "login on MLK day and we'll give you $10k"
To put this into use permanently is ridiculous and won't change anything since everything is just going to be relative to the amount of money that people have.

i invited 16 frndz for 80K in the morning
the FFS server forgot about dat and i invited 16 more for another 80K upon which the page refused to load and a message sayin retry opened. i clicked on it the same thing happened and i clicked on retry again. dis time the page did open and wat do i see? i got 80K THREE TIMES!!!!! dats 240K in less than a minute
Ok the 10,000 thing isnt shutting down and its getting annoying despite the pbvious benefits, hate to be "that guy" but this should probably shut down
Looks like they have JUST changed the $10,000 login bonus to once every 8 hours instead of 4 hours.

Don't know what's with all the other comments, but I support the 10K per login move. What y'all are forgetting is that the relative increments of pet prices aren't changing, so pets remain within purchase range for a longer time (more sales) this way.
